Who do you think of when you think of a successful person? Bill Gates probably comes to mind for many people. Gates has both a successful company and great wealth. In today’s society, though, wealth and success are sometimes mistaken for the same thing.
What is success?
  According to the dictionary, success is “the achievement of something desired, planned or attempted.” That means that while we may never be rich, each of us can be successful. Here are a few simple rules to point us in the right direction.

Show up!
Someone once said, “Eighty percent of success is showing up.” Obviously, just making an appearance doesn’t guarantee anything. But when you approach every task with interest and focus, that’s really showing up! Next, do the best job you possibly can and be consistent 100 percent of the time. Apply these rules to your own dreams and success could be just around the corner.
