On July 29, 1981, Diana Frances Spencer married Charles, Prince of Wales. She arrived at St. Paul’s Cathedral in a glass coach. Crowds gathered for days, hoping for a look at Diana. Thirty-five hundred people attended the wedding that was conducted by 26 ministers. Including those who watched on TV and listened on the radio, the audience totaled 1 billion.
